I have never been SO excited to finish school supply shopping! Why? Because of Mabel’s Labels and the fact that it was going to as easy as “peel & stick” to label the my kids’ school supplies!

I received an Ultimate Back-to-School Combo pack for each of my 3 children… Each set includes dishwasher-safe labels for small school supplies, waterproof & extra sticky labels for shoes, laundry-safe labels for clothing, and couple metal tags for backpacks and such.

Each child’s label set is distinctly different from the other… so even my youngest (who cannot quite read), knows HERS is pink!

The cotton candy colored Classic Line labels with the butterfly are just adorable!! I really would love these because I have two daughters similar in age and we are ALWAYS getting their stuff mixed up! It’s so important to be organized because it makes me life less stressful! Seems like summer has been relaxing and this week before school starts is CRAZY!

Being organized is sooo important. The last thing you want to do is have to make another trip to the school because one kid forgot this or that.

The Sharpie marker and I spent several hours last night together getting everything labeled for my twin soon-to-be Kindergartners, and I’ve still got the labeling of clothing/jackets/shoes/blah-blah-blah that was on our list to-do’s. (seriously? shoes? Yep, it’s on “the list” of “Things to Label”)

These would have made life easier for my writing hand, and easier for my boys to tell at a glance which supplies were theirs.

I need these! Seriously – NEED!

Maybe weird. I LOVE organizing and labeling. OMGoodness. I think a well-organized house is essential for a well-organized brain. And with that tidy brain, one is free to fill it with learning!

what a wonderful idea these tags are! And so sweet-looking. I love how each child has a different look.

Being organized is fun, and so are labels! I just think my daughter’s first grade teacher has gone a little overboard by requesting we label EACH and EVERY pencil, marker, and crayon…

I have just received the two new packages of Mabel’s Labels for my two sons….one starting grade 2 and loses everything and a new preschool who feels like a “big boy” with his own labels and tags. One more son, who has special needs and we need to label his special orthotics, cooler bags, gtube supplies and his walker….I would love a package for him!!!! He deserves to be just like his older brothers and have his world labelled too!!!!
He’s our little super star, almost walking (and age 3)….so he would need the STAR icon for sure!!!!

Getting organized for back to school is very important to me because this is my son’s first year of full day school. He is starting grade 1, and will be doing the before and after school programs. He has only done 2.5 hours a day in JK and SK until now. So, I have to have to pack his lunches, and have homework time which I haven’t done before. Also, my daughter is now is pre-school at at differnt location all day long, so I have to be sure she is ready for the day too. Plus, my kids have gymnastics, judo, and swimming lessons. I really have to be organized!

I have 3 boys, if I don’t get organized, my son won’t be prepared for school and it will set him off on a bad foot for his start of schooling career.

With the changes in classmates and a new teacher with new expectations, avoiding additional stress of trying to figure out whose things are whose is important. Mabels Labels will help address this.

    Lori Vann says:

I think getting organized is important to not only keeping you sane, but keeping your kids on track.

I just saw my daughter labeled her pencil by writing on it – wish I could get her some labels!

  37. 11
    Heather says:

I love this idea!!!! I used to make regular mailing labels for my kids’ stuff but they never lasted the whole year. I’ve tried sharpie labeling too and that wears off of plastic & metal after several washings. But, I especially love it because apparently no one else in America spells their kids’ names like we spell ours.

  38. 10
    Yvette says:

OK – for the amount I spent (and am still spending today) on school supplies….I CANNOT imagine lost items. I don’t even wanna know what I spent. I just know that I am already a label freak and these need to be added to my life so I can sleep better at night. Seriously, they are that cool.

  39. 9
    Stacey says:

I think it is a good idea to be organized for school for the mere fact that it is my job this year to sift through the Lost and Found at school looking for names on items. It would be so much easier to dodge the lice if the names were in bright readable colors!!!

  40. 8

I first heard about Mabel’s when reading about a clever idea to keep from losing your small children in public…their 411 wristbands! Still think that’s the best idea, as even the most eyes-on-the-prize mommies know how fast the smaller ones can disappear into a crowd. Would love to see if the name stickers would help me organize my 6 kids :0)

    I LOVE my Mabels!

I heard about these before I had a kid and was “meh, who needs labels?”… now, I stick them on EVERYTHING! Even my nephews love them so much they asked for them for Christmas last year!

I need to get some done with my name though… as I had to use my daughter’s labels this past weekend to put our name on our Ikea bags when we went shopping (didn’t want our bags to get mixed up with our friends when hauling stuff out of the Jeep!).

  43. 5
    Dumblond says:

Oooo. I like the key tag ones! And the peel and stick labels look way cooler than the ones put out by my label maker…
