I am the kind-of girl who experiences the heartiest and fullest laughter in the face of the mishaps of others. This is why America’s Funniest Home Videos is one of my favorite television shows. I know I am not alone in this. How many time have you heard someone say, “If I only had a camera!”
In that spirit, Flip invited me (along with 4 other bloggers) to share a moment I wish I had captured on camera. I only have to think back to several days ago. I live that kind-of life… My friend Lisa and I hit the big city of Seattle. We wore our heels and our Awesome. Let me just say this… I will never again leave my Flip at home. As we strolled in the cool evening breeze just a block away from Pike Place Market… an uneven slab of sidewalk — Took. Lisa. Down. Not unlike this, sans catwalk:
The contents of her purse went everywhere! A kind woman even had to bring her one of her shoes. I would have brought Lisa her shoe… had I not been laughing so hard.
On the flip side (heh, punny)… here is a funny moment that I am so tickled was captured on my own Flip HD camera:

Wish I had a video camera a few weeks ago when a fox boldly strutted through our backyard, much to the astonishment of the four or so cats lounging nearby.
a moment that I wished I had a video camera was when my daughter was married 2 weeks ago!! I only have some pictures that someone else took! Granted I was crying ,but they were tears of happiness and the flip would have been perfect! I wish I had a video!
My best friend got tangled up with our

before she fell to the ground! You had to

I never got any video of my kids learning to ride their bike. Such a big milestone for them. Ugghhh

Being the mommy of a 3 and a half year old boy there are a gaZILLion moments when I wish I had a Flip!
The time D opened his mouth to make fun of me and a fly flew right in. Hilarious!
Normallly, like you, I would video the crazy things that happen every day because many things are that unbelievable.
However, since my daughter’s horse is sick, I wish I had had a camera to video the last time she jumped with him. Then she would be able to see him at his healthiest.
A moment I wish I had a video camera was when my cousin (when she was a baby) fell asleep at the dinner table and her face dipped into her bowl of noodle.

Five years ago I met the band Sonic Youth. I could have never carried a bulky video camera, but would have loved to have had a Flip Camera (which were not available yet).

I wish I had the Flip recently when my Grandson (14 yrs old) stepped outside with a full can of soda, shook it, and then opened it onto himself. The poured the remainder over top his whole head. Boy was he a mess and it was funny seeing him shiver with that cold soda running all over his bare chest, head, and face.

I wish I had my video camera when my son was born! I would have loved to capture that moment!
My nephew recently had his 1st birthday party with cake and everything. He was sitting in his high chair eating cake with his fingers, with blue and red Spiderman icing coating everything.
My dad leaned down to say Happy Birthday to him and my nephew was so delighted to see Grandpa he reached out and pulled him by the ears up close for a kiss. And smeared red and blue icing all over my dad in the process! It was priceless! My sister was taking pictures of course, but a video of that would have been a keeper. 
I wish I had a video recorder on our wedding day to record everything from start to finish. I would love to go back and watch it now!
With three kids under 8, there are many times I wish I had a video camera. Mostly I wish I had one as a fly on the wall during prayer time at night.
My husband was 20 minutes late for the birth of our first daughter because he was out of town. He’s always regretted not being there. A camera would have been perfect to share the moment.

The other day my daughter, son, and I were at the park. There was another little girl that was about a year older than my son that just couldn’t get enough of him. It was like watching two little love bugs chase after each other. I wish I had caught this with a video camera so we could laugh about it for years to come!

On my son’s 3 birthday hubby and I got him a toy he’d been wanting for SOOO long. My mom was sitting next to him as he was opening his presents and when he opened that one, his face LIT up and he squealed in excitement and threw his arms around my mom! The expression on his face was priceless…I wish I couldn’t captured that on film.

Two weeks ago I was at Cochon 555. Five chefs each prepared a heritage breed pig from snout to tail and presented their dishes. So much and so diverse, I couldn’t write fast enough to keep up the stories behind the chef creations. I wish I had a video camera to capture not only the chef’s words but their creative and beautiful food presentations.
I wish I had some video of my son singing when he was in kindergarten he would sing all day and we had no idea what he was singing about!
I didn’t video the birth of my first three babies, but did the fourth. It is so cool. I wish I had done it with the others.
